Could Btc be used as a corruption free voting mechanism as it is now?

Give each voter a BTC address then have the voter add an amount of $ and send it to an address from a given list that represents each candidate. Since every vote can be verified publicly, just need an app to tally up and exclude duplicate transaction...

I think this stability with an upward bias is a very, very good thing

I imagine vendors in El Salvador being comfortable holding onto BTC until they can pay their electric bills etc. with it and every day that BTC that would have been traded on an exchange are not traded is upward pressure on price. ES is but one fairl...
