OK...so I bought some BC on Venmo to send to a friend overseas and when I went to send it, it's stating that I have 0 BC available to send. WTH?

On 9 August 2026, I bought 172.17 USDT for PKR 48,845 by way of Binance P2P. The customer paid, I launched the USDT, and the trade was accomplished normally

Weeks later, the cost was reported as fraudulent

Once I went to my financial institution, the department manager advised me that the sender had filed a fraud grievance/chargeback. My foremost account and debit card have been suspended and funds I had already transferred to my other account and my father’s account have been additionally frozen

I contacted the customer asking why he had executed this. He later claimed it was a “chain dispute” and that his own account was blocked too

He advised me NOT to inform the financial institution it was a Binance P2P transaction and recommended I say the cost was for a web-based mobile-phone purchase as an alternative

I reported him to Binance around 2-Three October and submitted the proof. As of 7 October, his P2P profile still seems lively and he still appears capable of trade

I perceive investigations take time however that is the half I do not perceive. I'm dealing with frozen accounts and blocked funds over a completed Binance trade, while the individual I reported appears to be carrying on normally

I've the finished P2P order, proof of cost and USDT release, financial institution correspondence, account restriction proof, and the chat where he tells me to explain the transaction as a telephone purchase

Binance has the order data and chat history and may verify what happened

What I need to know is why an account concerned in a grievance like that is still apparently allowed to keep buying and selling whereas the investigation is ongoing

Has anybody here dealt with one thing comparable? Did Binance truly help with the bank dispute?

Igloo CEO Luca Netz said the company funded Abstract for 18 months but still failed to find product-market fit despite attracting major brands and a community of millions.

Abstract, a consumer-focused Ethereum layer-2 blockchain built by Pudgy Penguins’ parent company Igloo Inc., said Tuesday it will shut down this year after struggling to scale and find product-market fit.

In an X post, Abstract said its focus on “consumer crypto” ultimately proved to be an unsustainable business model. Abstract launched its mainnet in January 2025 with the aim of driving consumer crypto adoption by targeting mainstream entertainment. For users, it aimed to strip away many of the complexities that traditional blockchains require.

“Unknown to most, Igloo, Inc. had been funding Abstract over the last 18 months,” said Luca Netz, CEO of Igloo Inc. “After losing tens of millions of dollars over two years, building consumer products, assembling an all-star team, onboarding some of the biggest brands in the world, and building a community of millions, we still had not found product-market fit.”

The lawsuit alleged that Tether froze USDt funds in a Conduit wallet tied to an investigation launched by Brazilian authorities in 2024.

Cross-border payments platform Conduit Technology alleged that stablecoin issuer Tether froze $2.76 million in USDt (USDT) without explanation in September 2025.

In a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday, Conduit said that Tether froze funds belonging to the company to which it had “no legal entitlement” and “no claim.” The company said it began holding USDt as part of its digital treasury wallet in May 2025, alleging that Tether froze all $2.76 million of the stablecoin in September with “no justification” — an action Conduit claimed “materially impacted its business.”

“The funds are unequivocally Conduit’s, but Tether has taken them and is denying Conduit access to them,” alleged Conduit in the complaint, adding: “Tether is not allowed to take money from businesses just because they chose to store that money in Tether’s currency.”

The proposed fund would hold ZEC directly, with Gemini Trust serving as custodian and Winklevoss Capital affiliates eyeing up to a $100 million investment.

A Winklevoss-backed exchange-traded fund (ETF) seeking to track Zcash’s price has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The proposed Winklevoss Zcash ETF would hold ZEC directly and seek to list on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker WINK, according to the filing.

Winklevoss Asset Services would sponsor the fund, while its affiliate Gemini Trust Company would custody the ETF’s ZEC holdings. The fund would charge an annual sponsor fee of 0.25% and would not use leverage or derivatives to achieve its investment objective.
