Why BTC replacing the USD is a terrible idea

I'm not anti BTC/crypto, but the notion of BTC replacing the USD could be absolutely catastrophic.

First lets get into the mindset that some people have, of BTC fully replacing the USD and eventually all world currencies. Both cases are extreme, but suprisingly I get a lot of people replying to me saying that the 'fiat to BTC' will be a thing in the past and all employers will pay in BTC and the entire world will run on BTC.

Lets look at the scenario where BTC replaces the USD and the USD eventually completely dies off which would most certainly kill off the stability of any other currency.

1. Price inflation doesn't disappear if the entire world started to suddenly fight to hoard one single currency. If BTC really becomes that powerful to replace the USD then every corporation, billionaire, government and individual will be racing like rats to hoard the most BTC they can. They'll either mark the prices of their goods as high as they can, or they'll cut as many jobs as they possibly can and replace us with the cheapest labor/AI/robot as possible. Corporations will still run the world, they won't suddenly decrease the price of things or not give out pay cuts and layoffs just because BTC. Every corporation will become as BTC frugal as possible since they know the entire world revolves around hoarding BTC. Corporations spend their money and invest because cash is better spent/invested in most cases rather than hoarded which leads to money decay.

2) 2% inflation which, we all lived with a majority of our lives, isn't a bad thing. Anyone who is smart doesn't hold their net worth in cash and should invest in bonds, stocks (or BTC), real estate or so on. People like to pull up the 40 year chart of USD losing value, but again, who is dumb enough to hold onto a pile of cash for 40 years.

2% inflation promotes spending, if there was no inflation or deflation (which a lot of people think would happen with BTC) then spending screeches to a halt as people are much more hesitant to spend money if their money will be worth more in the future. What happens when consumption plummets? Layoffs, pay reductions and businesses shutting down, which will lead to homelessness and people not being able to pay their bills.

Do you think the government will be able to bail out people when they lose their jobs and give out welfare if they can't print their own money?

3) The worlds richest 1% owns 50% of the worlds entire wealth. The worlds richest 10% owns 85% of all the worlds wealth...Nobody on this sub can even come close to this level of wealth, even if they put their mortgage into BTC at this price and do a 10x leveraged YOLO hold. In the event of BTC replacing all world currencies that would in turn make every billionaire on the planet scramble to hoard the most BTC, and spend as little of it as possible. Same thing with every single corporation and every government.

Does anyone here think the government will be able to bail out all the people who lose their jobs if they're not able to print their own money and want to be as BTC frugal as possible? The viewpoint of every single world government would be "I need to hoard the most BTC as humanly possible". The entire world turns into a war of who can hoard the most BTC.

4) We're still the governments bitch. If BTC eventually replaces the dollar they could literally just raise taxes by however much they want, and every government will be trying to milk and hoard as much tax money as possible. 2% higher inflation or 30% higher taxes? What will you do, move to another country where you're not a citizen and leave your entire life/family/friends behind? If you're in the US we have pretty much the best job market on the planet, so have fun moving to a place with a worst job market and that will most definitely have a government trying to milk as much BTC out of you as possible.

I'd love to hear some counter arguments. I can see the appeal for BTC in countries like Venezuela but I think BTC replacing the USD would be an absolute nightmare scenario with a dystopian cyberpunk style ending where both corporations and governments somehow get even more greedy.
