Where to Swap BTC for ETH?

Long-time BTC maxi here, but lately I’ve been exploring some DeFi use cases and starting to see real potential beyond just holding.

Specifically, I’ve noticed several protocols offering solid APY on stablecoins, with decent track records and transparent on-chain data. I’m now seriously considering swapping a portion of my BTC for ETH to access that ecosystem (L2s, vaults, etc).

My questions:

Any tips on bridging BTC to ETH or wrapping it efficiently?

What are the safest and most reputable DeFi protocols today for yield on stables?

Is it worth looking into wBTC alternatives (like tBTC, renBTC, etc), or should I go straight for native ETH?

I’m not looking for crazy APY, just something secure, sustainable, and ideally non-custodial. Would love to hear from those of you already putting ETH to work.

Thanks in advance!
