This question bugs me every time I think about the future of Bitcoin.
You cannot create new coins but you can lose them. Somebody, as I’ve read here before, might have lost access to their HD or cold storage and their coins are lost forever. Don’t that mean that way long down the road the number of available bitcoins will be 0?
