Taking an opposing viewpoint, one could argue that banks might still have a role to play.

I signed up for a subscription ($10/month) but wasn't able to cancel it because the company won't send me a password reset email (Yea, I checked spam, junk every folder and never received their emails). Their website and support phone number also seemed bogus.

Anyways, I was able to call my bank, speak to an agent, dispute the transaction, and get a refund. They also blocked the merchant as it seemed suspicious.

Now I'm wondering how I could have handled the situation if I had paid using some cryptocurrency?

How are disputes handled via CryptoCurrencies ?
