Security question about wallet software usage

Google searches are utterly useless asking for such information...

How do I use a wallet software (on Linux) with seed phrase stored on paper, making sure that no data is ever saved on disk, only in memory? Do the popular wallets like Sparrow or Electrum have this?

So I would type in the seed phrase to open the wallet, but the software never saves anything to disk.

I don’t know how to measure that myself so I need to ask.
