Is Strike still one of the best options to buy BTC and can I avoid using Plaid to add my bank if so?

I'd rather avoid paying any kind of debit fee (if they ever allow debit purchases again) and I'm tired of dealing with Plaid and it's inability to ever actually work, as well as avoid giving them access to such confidential information.
