Is it safe to give some you don't know your main eth address?

What harm scammers can cause if they get your main Eth address? I have seen air drop and such scammers do .

They always look for new ways and techniques to scam.

Someone i don't know suppose to pay me in eth for something I'm selling. I understand that eth address is visible, in my case buyer knows my name so that's why I'm asking this question.
