How to cheaply use polymarket?

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 152 Views

I know the general basics of wallets, CEXs, and different chains, and I'm trying to see if I can use poly market with smaller fees. I have a a POL (formerly MATIC) metamask wallet which I have linked to polymarket. I can send USDC via the POL chain from my CEX to my metamask wallet and it shows up just fine. The problem is my polymarket account doesn't see it until I "swap" it to "USDC.e" at which point polymarket can see the USDC.e and I can make bets with it. That's ok, but when I do that swap on metamask there's a decent fee involved. I'm wondering if there's a way to directly send USDC.e to the wallet so I don't have to do this swap. Thanks for any advice especially if you've encountered this yourself!
