Economists are familiar with the term “bad money drives out good”.
What it means is that people hold on to the type of money they think has value and they’ll spend the type of money that they think will lose value.
To be clear I’m not a bitcoiner, however I am curious how bitcoiners address this economic issue.
Aren’t people just going to hoard bitcoin instead of spending it? Doesn’t that undermine the objective of bitcoin?
